More information

The work of the Knights of St. John in the Fürstenfeld area, in Übersbach and in Altenmarkt is demonstrated with the Knights of St. John Radl Tour. The three historically significant church sites are connected by the path. The Ritterorden Radl-Tour is also ideally suited for electric bicycles. Starting from the Fürstenfeld parish church, the route leads via Übersbachgasse to the Berkamm ridge, where the cycle path and hiking trail separate. The cycle path leads via the Wieskapelle chapel to Übersbach, while the hiking trail also leads through green forests to the Übersbach branch church. Over the village green it goes slightly hilly to Stadtbergen from there to the parish church Altenmarkt. From here it goes comfortably back to Fürstenfeld, from far away you can already see the imposing remains of the fortress wall.

The tour is also ideally suited for e-bikes.

In the brochure Fortress Trail Fürstenfeld or at www.festungsweg.at you can learn all the historical background to the tour.

Be sure to also visit the fortress trail around the former city walls of Fürstenfeld. Guided tours are available for groups of 6 or more with advance booking. Info phone: +43 3382 55100-81
