With the Burg Opening 2026, the Riegersburg will ceremoniously kick off the new season on March 28, 2026. Visitors can expect a varied spring day full of culture, history, culinary delights, and family experiences.

Culture & History:
The museums of Riegersburg - Castle Museum, Weapons Museum, and Witch Museum - will open their doors. Historic sword fighting shows, weaponry demonstrations, and insights into life in past centuries bring history to life.

Gastronomy & Culinary:
In the castle tavern and beer garden, regional specialties will be served. The offerings are complemented by wine tastings and guided vineyard tours with local winemakers.

Family & Experience:
A colorful children's program featuring face painting, 3D archery, and impressive bird of prey flight demonstrations provides entertainment for both young and old. Live music adds a festive touch to the program.
