Christmas Returns - Nostalgic, Classic, and Full of Magic

When Kornberg Castle transforms again into one of the most atmospheric Christmas worlds in Austria at the beginning of November, the most wonderful time of the year begins for all visitors.

The Christmas exhibition 2026 is all about the classic and nostalgic Christmas. Warm burgundy tones, rich pine green, and noble gold, together with lovingly designed Christmas motifs, create an atmosphere that awakens memories of Christmas celebrations from times past. With much creativity and attention to detail, unique Christmas worlds emerge in the historical rooms of the castle, blending tradition and timeless elegance.

Over 150 artisans present high-quality handicrafts, extraordinary gift ideas, and handcrafted Christmas decorations. The experience is complemented by regional specialties from numerous producers along the Vulkanland Route 66, inviting guests to enjoy and linger.

From November 4, 2026, Kornberg Castle will open its doors daily once again and invites visitors to rediscover the magic of a classic Christmas world.

Christmas, as we remember it - atmospheric, nostalgic, and full of inspiration.
