3D archery tournament in Riegersburg

A unique event that combines sporting precision with a nature experience.
On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the Riegersburg will serve as a spectacular backdrop for an extraordinary sports experience from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. At the exclusive 3D archery tournament for hobby archers, participants will experience the historic castle complex from entirely new perspectives. Organized by Naturbursch Training Riegersburg, the event opens areas of the castle grounds that are normally not accessible to the public - and where shooting is never permitted outside of this tournament.
The specially designed course follows a unique route up to the Riegersburg. The start is at the high ropes course, with the first 3D animal targets waiting along the way to the castle. After passing the treasury, the route diverges from the regular paths, through vineyards and hidden terrain. Shooting will take place at realistic animal replicas at different distances - focus, precision, and respectful handling of nature and terrain are the main goals.
The tournament is specifically aimed at hobby shooters and ends with a festive award ceremony in the tavern of the Riegersburg.
The entry fee is €20 for adults and €10 for children; entry to the entire castle grounds is included. Registration is now open via email to office@naturbursch.at
