More information

The journey to Tauplitz is best planned with google.at/maps. From there you can take the 4-seater chairlift to the high plateau.

By car, you can get to the Tauplitzalm from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road (toll).

Take the comfortable 4-seater chairlift from the center of Tauplitz up to the Tauplitzalm.

You start at the mountain station. Before you get to Tauplitz, it is worth visiting the small mountain church

South of the church, follow trail no. 276 southwards down the valley. The path is gravel until after the middle station, then follow the asphalt road back to the starting point.

Refreshments available at the Pfannerhütte below the middle station.

The bus stop is located directly at the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift. From Tauplitz train station you can reach the valley station in about 20 minutes on foot.

Salzkammergut Shuttle Ausseerland - individual call taxi
On five routes between Sandling and Grimming daily from 07:00 to 22:00 on the road.
Call at least 1 hour in advance at +43 50 422 422

There are plenty of free parking spaces available at the valley station of the 4-seater chairlift and on the Tauplitzalm.
