Gaiswinkler circular path

Right at the foot of Grundlsee's local mountain, the Backenstein, the district "Gaiswinkl" is somewhat secluded and hidden.

The journey to Grundlsee is best planned with google.at/maps.

The Gaiswinkl circular trail starts below the rural settlement area, at the war memorial in Gaiswinkl, which was renovated in 2014, leads through the village and past the Dona, Stöckl, Thoman and Kriag farms. Passing through the "Wiesen", you finally cross the so-called Mühlbach and after crossing a wooded area you come to the "Polly Hut", where you meet the "Via Artis". A small asphalt road ultimately leads back to the starting point.

Hike at your own risk, as grazing cattle are to be expected! Please also close all fences!
