Wood and creative workshop Zloam

Grundlsee

Our wood and creative workshop invites children and adults to work with wood and other natural materials.

Whether sawing, drilling, cutting, planing, sanding, nailing, or gluing – in our woodworking shop, children and adults can build wooden items (such as birdhouses, animal figures, airplanes, and ships and much more) under professional guidance and learn how to work with our native wood.

HOW?

Check our homepage for our weekly program to know what will be built.
Trained staff members will be at your side. There are no limits to your own creativity!
After completing your wooden item, you can decorate it as you like and take it home.
You will receive a woodworking license that confirms what you have made with wood.

WHERE?

The woodworking and creative workshop is located at the Zloam estate.

WHO?

The duration of the course is 1–2 hours and requires a minimum age of three years (3–5 years accompanied by an adult).

When?

Please check our WEEKLY PROGRAM for current opening hours.

Dear parents, grandparents, and accompanying persons!
You are warmly welcome to accompany your child/children and also to demonstrate your own craftsmanship with your own project. It is most beautiful when the children work independently – in the spirit of Maria Montessori: “Help me to do it myself.”
Our staff members are happy to assist if someone needs help, but we cannot offer childcare or supervision.
