It is easy to use: the Benefit Card is presented on a smartphone along with an ID. Only employees of participating tourism businesses can take advantage of this offer. The Ausseerland Benefit Card makes the region even more attractive for tourism employees and provides unique experiences and benefits.

The Ausseerland Benefit Card is a discount card for employees in the tourism industry within the Ausseerland Salzkammergut tourism region (Altaussee, Bad Aussee, Grundlsee, Bad Mitterndorf, and Tauplitz).

Holders of the Benefit Card enjoy discounts at attractions, retail stores, and dining establishments. The Ausseerland Benefit Card is exclusively reserved for tourism employees.

All infrastructure businesses in the Ausseerland region have the opportunity to contribute to the Benefit Card by offering a deal. If the business is a tourism-related operation, its employees are automatically eligible to request the Benefit Card. Participation with an offer is a fundamental requirement for employees to be able to take advantage of the card's benefits and discounts.

With the presentation of the Benefit Card on a smartphone and a valid ID, employees receive discounts or benefits in tourism, retail, and other services. The Benefit Card is a fully digital mobile card featuring a photo for visual verification, based on the Feratel Card System.

There is no physical printed card; everything is managed through a mobile device. The Benefit Card is not a standalone app but a Progressive Web App (PWA) that can be used without the need for installation. This ensures easy access and seamless functionality on any mobile device.

The participating business submits a list of active employees to the Tourism Association (TVB). Once this list is available, employees can request their Benefit Card directly via the website: www.ausseerland.at/en/benefitcard-registration

The activation of the Benefit Card follows an annual cycle. At the end of each year, participating businesses review and verify their employees’ status. If an active employment relationship is confirmed, the card is automatically renewed for the following year.
