The starting point is slightly above (towards Lahnsattel) the cross-country ski trail entrance, at the parking lot for the ski tour on the Göller. Short descent along the cross-country ski trail to the Kriegskogelbach. Cross the Kriegskogelbach on a small bridge and follow the cross-country ski trail to the right for about 1 km.
Afterwards leave the cross-country ski trail to the right and walk through a small forest belt to a free, somewhat steep meadow slope. Climb over this slope to the Sulzriegelalm. From the alp directly to the west, at the beginning a little steeper and then flat and with some ups and downs, follow the ridge always to the west. Past a hunting lodge and over the Hochalm (dilapidated) to the summit of the Wildalpe with the summit cross and the transmission mast. The descent follows the ascent track.
In good conditions, you can descend directly northeast from point 1356 to the forest road. Follow the forest road to the right until you reach the ascent track.
