Weg Nr. 10 Trettenwirtwanderweg

From the “Grüner Specht” inn, we walk along the main road, past the Kurhotel and the Strasser confectionery to the Kump inn. We continue along the residential street to a path along the Blahbach stream. Passing the landscape pond and the old lime kiln, we reach the main road and follow it to the Trattenwirt inn.

From the “Grüner Specht” inn, the path leads along the main road, past the Kurhotel and the Strasser confectionery to the Kump inn. Here we turn into the residential street and follow it to its end. A footpath along the Blahbach stream takes us further and we reach a well-trodden path past the Landschaftsteich vlg. Pierer until shortly before the Moschitz vlg. Pierer farmstead. After an old lime kiln, the path branches off to the left towards the main road, where we meet the sidewalk along the L 514 at the “Sprinz-Kreuz”. We follow this to the Trattenwirt inn. The return route initially leads back along the L 514 to the “Sprinz-Kreuz”. From there, we take a mown footpath that takes us to the leisure center and past the sports field. Finally, we reach the village center and return to the starting point at the Grüner Specht inn. The route offers a pleasant mix of nature and village views.

Switch to the S36 towards Judenburg.
Take the B78 to Judenburg, then the B114 to Oberzeiring.

From Graz (approx. 1.5 hours):

Take the A9 motorway towards Linz.
Switch to the S36 towards Judenburg.
Take the B78 to Judenburg, then the B114 to Oberzeiring.

From Salzburg (approx. 2.5 hours):

Take the A10 motorway towards Villach.
Take the B96 towards Tamsweg, then the B97 towards Murau.
Take the B114 to Oberzeiring.

We follow the L 514 to the Trattenwirt inn. Return along the L 514 to the “Sprinz-Kreuz”. Continue along the mown footpath to the leisure center and the sports field. From there you are almost back in the village center at the starting point Gasthaus Grüner Specht.

You shouldn't come home hungry from this hike, as there are several places to stop for refreshments along the route
