From the church in St. Leonhard leads a road to a housing estate, where it is the start of the trip. Via the area of "Hintenkogel" you take the taramac road which leads in the right direction upwards to the area "Gallhof". After an area of settlement you meet a bridge and after crossing it you follow the street downwards. After the next bridge you must turn at the carpenter to the right in direction of the area "Archkogl" and follow this way till the end.

Ten again the same way back. 200 meters before the carpenter you turn to the right to the "Mondi-Holiday-Hotel Seeblick, the path downwards to the lake and cross the bridge at the beginning of the lake to the hotel "Seehotel Grundlsee". At this point you have to turn left upwards to the area "Mosern" and later on take the turn to the "Tressensattel". Follow the road to the end and enjoy the beautiful view while having a nice break at one bench.

Taking a ride on a horse on approved forest roads and paths is allowed from 08.30 a.m until two hours before dusk. Feeding areas and raised stands shall be avoided to be passed.

Riding on authorized forest roads and paths is permitted from 8:30 am until 2 hours before dusk. Of course, game feeding areas and their immediate surroundings may not be entered. High stands are to be avoided, otherwise only to be passed at a walk.
