Habt ACHT in Straden
The connection between the volunteer fire department and the church according to the motto “To honor God, to defend one's neighbor” is expressed at the annual church service on St. Florian's Sunday at the beginning of May, as well as during operations, community care, exercises and the presentation of the volunteer fire department.
Each of the eight stations around St. Florian's Church contains information about a fire department and is designed around a theme - an attention from everyday life - which links the work of the fire department with biblical faith. These themes are illustrated by equipment used by the fire department.
Many thanks and thanks be to God for the realization and financing of the themed trail to the participating fire departments and their commanders, in particular EABI Gottfried Trummer and OBR Johannes Matzhold, the parish of Straden with Pastor Johannes Lang and the market town of Straden with Mayor Gerhard Konrad.
