As the season comes to an end, traditional Ausseer folk music groups set the mood for the beginning of autumn during the musical autumn hike in Altaussee.

No region in Austria has shaped the way of playing in folk music more than the Ausseerland. As a thank you for a beautiful summer and to the guests and friends of the Ausseerland region, the top musicians of the region play in the inns around the picturesque lake and in the village taverns. Whether on foot, on a flatboat, or in a garden pub – music is made everywhere!
