In the spring of 2008, the worldwide first chapel was auctioned off on eBay and purchased by the Wilfingers, a family of hoteliers. The Baroque chapel in Hof bei Kirchberg/Raab from the 18th century was dismantled and rebuilt with a lot of effort and attention to detail atop mount Masenberg (elevation of 1,261 m) in the Nature Park Pöllau Valley. This special place of power with an alpine shelter and a summit cross is owned by the family Wilfinger since 1987.
The Chapel of Good Fortune is also a wonderful place to celebrate christenings, weddings, jubilees and church services.
Silent prayer, healing meditation, saying the rosary or simply lighting a candle for your loved ones - open yourself to the spiritual power of this unique place.

"SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" and closes the mobility gap where bus and train do not run. The nearest SAM stop near the Glückskapelle is HF 5843 (Masenberg/Schutzhütte), other stops can be found here.
