Mursteg St. Ruprecht footbridge
St. Georgen am KreischbergThe footbridge over the Mur connects the train station and the cycle path with the center of St. Ruprecht and the wood museum.
The truss construction with a free span of 40 meters consists of larch wood, steel rods and shatterproof glass. The light, almost filigree-looking construction was planned by Bettina Richter and Peter Mandl and was chosen as the winning project in a competition in 1994.
