Water sports at the Kristallsee

Austria's highest water ski lift is located on the Mariazell Bürgeralpe. It is operated on the Kristallsee - a snowmaking pond. The state-of-the-art water ski lift consists of a 2-mast Gatewake lift and is 105 metres long. Obstacles include a kicker and a rooftop.

Wake Alps is the ideal location for wakeboarders and water skiers. This water ski lift is also ideal for beginners, as the speed can be regulated manually and individually and can be adjusted to suit each rider. You can also try out kneeboards, tyres, bananas and the flying carpet.

Right next to the water ski lift, a separate area has been set up for "walking on water ball" and "stand up paddle". This water ball is a big inflatable ball that one person can get into - so you can walk or roll over the water - great fun for everyone!

Life jackets and helmets are of course provided. If the temperatures are a bit cooler, you can also borrow wetsuits. Life jackets and helmets must be worn when using the facilities! Use of the facilities is at your own risk!

A large bathing jetty has been built and comfortable deckchairs invite you to take a break so that you can relax from water sports or watch your friends.

In addition, the little guests can play at the sand playground or on the large slope slide. From the three cosy hammocks you can enjoy a great view of the crystal lake. Drinks, ice cream and small snacks are available directly at the "Café am See" in the Ark of the Forest.
