Mariazell

In addition to hikes and climbing tours, the Mariazellerland offers a variety of sports and leisure activities in summer: Popular excursion destinations are the Mariazeller Bürgeralpe with the amusement park "Holzknechtland & Biberwasser", the water ski lift "Wake Alps", the hiking wonder forest and the forest roller coaster "Flylina" as well as the Gemeindealpe Mitterbach with roller coaster and mountain carts. There is also a feeder path to BergZeitReise, the circular hiking trail through the entire Hochsteiermark. The natural jewel Erlaufsee invites you to swim, dive and boat. The event highlight are the concerts at the mountain lake: here open-air live concerts are offered on the lake stage of the Bürgeralpe at an altitude of 1,300 m with an impressive water show.
