Three in one - From Hochsteiermark to Joglland and on to the Viennese Alps

The tour starts in Stanz im Mürztal. Here we take the L 114 to Kindberg and Krieglach. In Krieglach, turn off onto the B 72 to reach the Alpl, where you turn half right at kilometre 78.7 to Peter Rosegger's forest school.

To the right of the forest school, the road leads uphill to the B 72, where you turn right again onto the B 72. Continue to St. Kathrein am Hauenstein until you reach a T-junction, where you turn left towards Ratten and Rettenegg. The road leads towards Pfaffensattel and on to Steinhaus am Semmering. In Steinhaus, turn right at the T-junction towards Paßhöhe Semmering.

Follow the main road towards Maria Schutz, Schottwien and Gloggnitz. Turn right here towards Kirchberg/Wechsel, Schlagl and Otterthal. Keep right at the T-junction and head towards Birkfeld over the Feistritzsattel and Rettenegg. At road kilometre 7.3, turn left towards St Jakob/W. Stay on this road until you reach St. Jakob im Walde. Turn right at the T-junction in the village.  At the next junction, turn right again (towards Ratten). Immediately afterwards, at road kilometre 5.0, turn half left. Pass the hotel ‘Das Leitner’ and stay on this road until you reach a T-junction with the B 72. Keep left here and continue on the B 72 until road kilometre 64.2, where you turn right and reach Fischbach. Via Fischbach you reach the Schanzsattel and the starting point of the tour, Stanz im Mürztal.
