The 12 head monuments made of sheet steel, crafted by voestalpine Tubulars Kindberg, focus on the design of eyes and mouths, to which artist Franz Krammer has given great expressiveness, resembling the human face. No nose or ears disrupt the strict form.
The natural head serves as the model. The result is not an abstract construct in the sense of formal alienation, but rather a kind of head object that also exhibits emotional and individual characteristics. Despite the silhouette-like representation, an extract of human-like forms and proportions remains.
