We begin our hike at the parking lot of the Kindbergdörfl Sports Center, after getting an overview of the route on the large information board. Opposite the parking lot, the trail starts on a grassy strip with a steeply ascending path. We hike uphill between the houses until we reach the asphalt road, then turn left downhill until we arrive at an intersection, where we continue straight ahead along Hauswälderweg.
Soon, we reach a fork in the path, where we keep left and continue gently uphill. We follow the edge of the forest until the trail merges into a forest road, which leads further through the woods. We continue on this forest road for a short distance before turning left onto a forest path that leads downhill. We arrive at a stream, turn left, and continue downstream.
It is worth visiting the Kalvarienberg Church, which can be seen on the left side. We continue following the stream downhill until we reach the asphalt road, where we turn right and follow it until we reach a pedestrian underpass (connection to Kindberg train station). We are now on Jakob-Eduard-Schmölzer-Gasse, where we continue hiking uphill.
At the junction, we keep to the right and continue until we turn left into Waldrandgasse. After a slight ascent, the residential area ends, and we continue across meadows. A stunning view of the Mürztal Valley and the surrounding mountains opens up.
Continuing, we pass a farmstead between two large trees and then descend into the valley until we reach a crossroad, where we turn right, pass the waste collection point, and follow the asphalt road. Shortly after, we reach a left turn, following the path downhill past houses, between fruit trees, and through a meadow path beside shrubs, until we reach the asphalt road. Here, we turn right, cross a bridge, and turn left downhill.
We follow Tetschbach Creek until we reach a covered wooden bridge. After crossing the bridge, we turn left, passing Kindtaler Gewerkenschloss before a short uphill climb brings us to the main road. We turn right and continue on the sidewalk until we reach a bridge. Here, we cross the main road and turn into Kindtalstraße, which we follow uphill.
We pass an old mill, and at the end of the settlement, we turn left onto Am Kogelwald Street. At the hilltop, we take a break at a resting bench with a spectacular valley view of the Fischbach Alps.
After a short rest, we continue downhill, passing a water wheel, until we reach the edge of the forest. We take the left path, walking at a leisurely pace until we reach a meadow. After crossing the meadow, we walk a few more steps through deciduous trees, then turn right. We follow the stream uphill, cross it, and continue across a meadow until we reach a gravel road, which we cross, following the sign that leads us to a forest trail.
We continue through the forest, eventually reaching a residential area, where we turn right and descend the street. At the intersection, we follow the right path, leading gently uphill.
Soon, we reach a small bridge, where we take a short detour straight ahead to visit a beautiful energy spot with fresh spring water from the Goldbründl, a fitness pyramid, and a pavilion. After a break, we return to the small bridge, following the marked signs again.
We cross the bridge, hike along the hillside, and reach a residential area. We continue on the asphalt road until we reach a sharp left turn, where we turn right onto the forest trail Rosegger Weg. We follow it, first along a fence, then along the forest edge, until we reach the asphalt road.
We cross the road and walk between two rock formations, crossing Möstlingbach Creek, and continue past the swimming pool. We pass under the expressway, turn right, and reach a sculpture. A few steps lead us to "Kopf-Allee," where we admire more sculptures by Franz Krammer.
Descending, we reach the main road, where turning left leads to Kindberg town center with many refreshment options. We turn right and continue along the sidewalk. At Georgenweg, we turn right and hike uphill toward Georgiberg.
With prior registration, the Georgiberg Church can be visited. We pass a small meadow, soon reaching the forest edge, where we enter a woodland path. At the end of the forest road, we see a large cross on the right side of the trail.
After a short stop, we continue along the path, reaching a stream and marshy area. We turn left, ascending the old hollow path. At the intersection, we keep right, continuing uphill until reaching a gravel road, where we turn left.
From here, we enjoy a panoramic view of the Voestalpine Tubulars plant in Aumühl and the districts of Kindbergdörfl, Leopersdorf, Allerheiligen, and Hadersdorf. Even the Rennfeld and Mugel peaks can be seen.
Descending, we reach an asphalt road, turn left, then right onto a small hiking trail crossing a bridge. We ascend along the forest edge until we reach another asphalt road, then briefly descend before taking a gravel road on the right.
Passing a horse paddock, we descend until reaching Lambachstraße. We turn left along the Lammerbach stream, then before the former Gasthof Kammerhofer, turn right over a bridge. Immediately after, we turn right again and then left onto a trail leading us toward Mürzhofen.
After a short rest at a scenic spot, we continue, crossing a small stream, and turn left onto a gravel road. After a short descent, we turn right, following the asphalt road downhill through the forest edge settlement into Mürzhofen.
Passing fields, we reach an intersection, where straight ahead leads to Gasthof Turmwirt. We turn right uphill to Bachgasse, then left, and cross a bridge.
At the war memorial, we turn right, hiking past Mürzhofen Church to the St. Anthony shrine, then turn left, passing through a residential area until we reach a meadow path leading downhill.
We cross the main road, continue to the Zöscher gas station, and return to the Kindbergdörfl Sports Center, completing the circular hike.
