From the Mürztal to Joglland and on to the Hochschwab region

The starting point for the tour is Stanz im Mürztal. From here, follow the L 114 to Fischbach via the Schanzsattel. Approximately 400 metres after the end of the village, turn right downhill towards Elmleiten. Once in the valley, continue left on 3.5 km of gravel. 900 m after the start of the tarmac road, turn right towards Piregg. After the village turn left downhill - left on the main road - in Haslau turn sharp right onto the L 457. After 1.3 km turn left over a bridge. From here, continue on the L 353 in the direction of Sommeralm.

In the Teichalm area, take the L 320 and continue downhill to the T-junction. Here turn left to Breitenau and right past the church and over the Eibeggsattel to Jasnitz and Allerheiligen im Mürztal. After the parish church, turn left, continue past the motorway bridge to Mürzhofen and continue along the main road to Kapfenberg and on to the LKH Bruck/St. Kathrein/Laming junction. In St. Kathrein, turn right at the church in the direction of Etmißl. From the top of the pass, there are 2 km of gravel to cycle on. In Etmißl continue to Büchsengut and turn left again to reach Gasthof Bodenbauer.

The route now continues via Thörl and Au near Turnau. In Au, take a sharp right, the road leads to Turnau and through the village over the Pretalsattel into the Veitsch. In Großveitsch, the route continues left to the Brunnalm. The route then leads us back towards Mitterdorf and at the traffic circle at the first exit to Kindberg, where we turn left into Stanz.
