The impressive landscape with its mountains, steep walls, plateaus, meadows, forests and streams awakens the desire to wander even in those guests who have not yet really found a love for nature and its beauties.

The Hochschwab with its 2277 meters of altitude is probably the most famous peak in the Hochschwab group.
The Bodenbauer is the ideal starting point for a Hochschwab summit tour. Via the Trawiestal and the "G'hackte" (insured trail) you can reach the Hochschwab summit in just over 4 hours.
A recommended hike leads from the Bodenbauer to the Häuslalm and on via the Sackwiesenalm to the Sackwiesensee (highest but warmest lake in the Hochschwab area).
Those who want to take it easy can hike in the Josertal to the idyllic Josersee.
