The route on the left bank mainly follows a cycle path alongside the main road. However, it also takes us to beautiful spots and excursion destinations such as the Lurgrotte Peggau. To reach the left bank of the Mur in Frohnleiten, we follow the right-hand bend at the traffic-light junction and cross the bridge. Here we immediately turn into Mayr-Melnhofstraße and continue along a narrow path. Passing under the motorway, we soon reach Ungerdorf and Schrauding before arriving in Badl. Here we have the first opportunity to switch back to the right bank of the Mur. This is also where the cycle path temporarily ends, and we continue along a quiet road for about 2 km to reach the entrance of the Lurgrotte.
We now arrive in Peggau, where we keep straight ahead at the roundabout towards Graz. Here again, there is the option to cross over to the right bank of the Mur.
From here, the route continues south along the provincial road, with a separate cycle path. Before long, we reach Gratkorn, where we first follow Harter Straße and then the roadside cycle path along Weinzöttlstraße into Graz city centre. Riding along the banks of the Mur, we finally reach Kepler Bridge at the foot of the Schlossberg.
