Since 1957, Weingut Melbinger has stood for premium wine from Styria, grown in the distinctive terroir of the Styrian Volcanic Land. Our family cultivates around 7 hectares of vineyards across four unique sites: Hintersberg, Hausberg, Rosenberg, and Theisenberg. The diversity of soils and microclimates shapes the character of each wine – a difference you can truly taste.
Our philosophy combines traditional craftsmanship with modern cellar techniques. We rely on meticulous hand harvesting, extended maturation periods, and gentle vinification in stainless steel tanks – resulting in DAC-certified quality wines with a strong sense of origin. Each bottle reflects passion, tradition, and skilled winemaking.
A particular highlight is our in-house vine nursery, family-run since the 1960s. Here we cultivate our own vines – maintaining high standards, a broad range of varieties, and exceptional growth success.
