Seerosenbad Kirchberg an der Raab
Kirchberg an der RaabA leisure center with an outdoor pool was created in Kirchberg an der Raab. The chemical-free bathing facility consists of an active area, a swimming area and an area for non-swimmers with a water slide.
A natural bathing lake with a total water surface of 3,200 square meters was built in the existing fish pond. One third of the water surface was formed as a planted green belt and serves the biological regeneration of the bathing water. The facility in Kirchberg an der Raab is completely chemical-free and symbolically represents a "water lily".
As a bathing guest, numerous highlights await you, as appropriate attractions have been built for every age group, such as a sandy beach, a pebble beach, a beach volleyball court, a play island with a fountain, springs, a diving island, a back-ventilated bench in the non-swimmer area and a speed slide with a sofa exit.
Water depths range from 0-1.10 meters in the non-swimmers' area, while swimmers have depths up to 3.40 meters. An illuminated promenade leads around the bathing lake, the sunbathing lawn at the dam between the fish pond and the bathing lake offers an additional attractive sunbathing area.
For winter use of the bathing lake, the footbridges are partially folded out, so that corresponding lane lengths and widths are available for curling.
