Herb, rose and witch garden Söchau
FürstenfeldUnique, enchanting garden in Söchau with a great variety of plants!
In the freely accessible herb rose garden 120 different medicinal herbs thrive. Due to the different growth and flowering times of the various plants, it is possible that the garden can be visited and scented throughout the summer half-year. In special guided tours you can learn more about the healing effects and magical powers of the plants.
Another attraction is the adjoining Kneipp path, which consists of a water rescue pool and a water trough. Especially on hot summer days, this is the perfect place to cool down. It is also perfect to relax in front of the small, fine herb chapel, which was dedicated to St. Hildegard von Bingen.
In the witch garden there are mainly poisonous herbs, which in higher doses unfold their deadly effects. Accordingly, this area can be visited only as part of a guided tour.
