Bärnbach

Glass production has a history in Bärnbach.

Glass has been produced in the traditional mouth-blowing technique in Bärnbach since 1805. Architect Prof. DI. Klaus Kada created in 1988, in the course of the Styrian provincial exhibition "Glass & Coal", a striking home for the glass museum with an additional exhibition area for annual special exhibitions and the sale of glass in the Lipizzaner home. Every year from April to December you can experience exhibitions around the theme of glass on an area of more than 2,000m². Something special awaits you in the glassworks: experience the glassblowers at work up close, only possible by appointment.
