Gradieranlage Eggersdorf
Eggersdorf bei GrazSalty air, the sound of a stream, and tranquility – breathe healthily in Eggersdorf!
Hidden between gentle hills and accompanied by the babbling of a brook lies the graduation tower Eggersdorf – a place to catch your breath. A graduation tower, also known as a saline concentrator, is a technical facility originally used for salt production by increasing the salt concentration of brine (saltwater) through natural evaporation. Today, graduation towers are often used for therapeutic and recreational purposes, as the salty air produced by the system can have a positive effect on the respiratory system. The fine brine drips over blackthorn walls, binding dust and pollen, cleaning the air. Like a day at the sea, right in the heart of the Graz Region.
Kneipp treatments, walking barefoot, breathing consciously. Movement in the great outdoors, embedded in a lovingly designed ensemble: sun decks under trees, a snack garden for lingering, outdoor stations for gentle training. The barefoot path of the Naturlaubahn awakens childhood memories; it grounds and invigorates at the same time.
The facility is accessible free of charge and barrier-free.
Those who linger here feel: Health begins with a single breath.
