Austrian Aviation Museum
Feldkirchen bei GrazIn addition to the numerous flying objects, there are also flight simulators and uniforms from the various eras of aviation.
The association was founded in 1979 by Hofrat Dr Josef Gaisbacher and a few fellow campaigners. It is not a classic museum, you can experience aviation up close and personal and everything is hands-on. The exhibits can be closely scrutinised and the members are happy to answer any questions.
The museum now has 2 gyrocopters, 13 jet aeroplanes, numerous propeller-driven and gliders, engines and an electromechanical flight simulator. Some flying objects are also on display outside.
The museum is open from 1 May to 26 October!
