Experience the new-born Lipizzaner foals up close at the Lipizzaner stud farm in Piber in the Graz Region!
From the end of January, a very special time begins at the Lipizzaner stud farm in Piber: the first foals of the year are born! Visitors can experience the newborn Lipizzaners up close as early as February. The foal experience days give you exciting insights into the traditional breeding of these noble horses.
A special guided tour takes you directly into the ‘nursery’ of the young Lipizzaners. There you will learn all about the birth, the first days of life and the unique characters of the foals. A look into the future of the little horses is also included - what does their everyday life look like, what training awaits them and when might they even perform at the Spanish Riding School?
The guided tours take place from February at 13:30 and are an unforgettable experience for young and old. Especially for families with children, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of the Lipizzaners.
