The wave pool in the Gleisdorf swimming pool has given the wave pool its name for decades.

In 2018 the swimming pool turned 50 years old. After the complete renovation, the wave pool and refuge was reopened with a celebration in 2004. It includes a sunbathing area of more than 14000 m² and is partially shaded by trees. With 5 pools, the Gleisdorfer wave pool offers a 1700 m² water surface. The sports pool has over 800m² and a depth of up to 2m. Right next to it is the diving tower with the two 1m + 3m high diving boards. The famous wave pool has a water surface of 643m², a waterfall shower and a built-in floor whirlpool and is up to 1.35m deep. For the little ones there is a spacious children's paddling pool, which is only 15-35cm deep and equipped with a swiveling water cannon. The adventure slide has a length of 61m and is always popular with young and old. With the children's play equipment, the net swing, the rope ladder, the spring swing, the sand excavator, the play fountain and much more, no child's wish remains unfulfilled. If you want to do sports, you can compete on the beach volleyball courts or table tennis. A free broadband internet on the wave pool area is freely accessible. No matter where you are on the more than 14000 m² lying area, after connecting to the open wireless network, nothing stands in the way of fast and free surfing fun.
