Teichalm - Holzmeister Lift
St. Kathrein am OffeneggThe Holzmeister lifts on the Sommeralm offer skiers and snowboarders a wonderful winter backdrop on the sunny side. 2 drag lifts, a lift buffet, fairytale meadow, children's lift and many other highlights make for a great day of skiing in Almenland. Ski courses and ski rental are also offered.
The valley station at the Holzmeister lifts is located at approx. 1,250m above sea level on the Sommeralm. The sunny slope is ideal for families with children and beginners in skiing and snowboarding. Two tow lifts and a children's lift take guests up the mountain, where they then descend again on 3 slopes with approx. 2.5 kilometers. Here you can choose between the blue and the red slope. There is a special children's lift for the little ones, where they can then ride through the fairy tale meadow. There is also a halfpipe, a camel hump and a wave run for those who like to experiment.
Numerous ski and snowboard races take place at the Holzmeister lifts. The ALMI ski school Eder takes good care of beginners' skiers and snowboarders as well as the rental of sports equipment. The modern snow-making system ensures excellent snow conditions.
The "Liftstüberl", which was renovated in 2020, is available for refreshments. Here you can warm up with small and large dishes as well as cold and warm drinks. You can fill up on vitamin D on the terrace while the children frolic in the snow.
There are also other inns on the Teichalm and Sommeralm, for example the Gasthof Holzmeister or the Holdahütt'n are not far away. The Sommeralm trail also leads past the lift.
