St. Ruprecht an der RaabSince May 2014, Hans-Peter Passath, the junior of the family, has been running a modern free-range egg business with great commitment.
The farm covers 12 hectares – of which around 8 hectares are used agriculturally and the rest for forestry.
Originally starting with 10 hens, there are now 256, living in a mobile barn and kept in a species-appropriate manner.
They are fed free from genetically modified organisms and in a balanced way.
