The Weizer Kunsthaus is the heart of the regional art and culture business.

The transparent glass structure integrates the Art House into the historical fabric of the old town of Weiz. The building (constructed from 2003-2005) surprises as a "great gesture" within a small, medieval structure. The building is designed as two stories, with the entire ground floor dedicated to retail and gastronomy. The upper floor forms the essential core of the Art House, which houses an event hall, foyer, and exhibition spaces. Efforts towards ecological sustainability have been recognized with the Austrian environmental label.
Since its opening in May 2005, nearly 1 million people have visited the Art House!
