Educational Trail: Bird Watching Trail
PöllauStarting point for the Bird Watching Trail is the "spot by the brook".
Starting from the "spot by the brook" (next to Retter Reisen) you go west, over the Safenbachbrücke (Safen stream bridge), and turn left to go along the asphalt road. Here we come across the Bird Watching Trail and you follow both markings until you reach the forking at the restaurant Schrank. From the restaurant Schrank onwards our hike continues along the Bird Watching Trail as well as the white-blue-white marked Schönauklamm (Schönau Gorge). At the exit of the gorge you find the marking red-white-red Nr. 945 to Pöllau, which we follow until the point of orientation Schönau. Here, we turn right and follow the yellow spots until we return to the "spot by the brook".
