We whet your appetite and desire for a good glass of wine and ingeniously prepared delicacies and specialties of the house. Not far from Villa Rustica, the remains of a Roman country estate, our grapes ripen to excellent qualities. The Romans already knew that in the heart of Eastern Styria, in the Hartbergerland, wine thrives very well!
Special feature "SLOW FOOD": Our Buschenschank has been one of the Slow Food restaurants in Styria for six years now. Incomparable taste and tender, crumbly meat allow an honest taste journey. See for yourself what it means to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere. When it comes to wine: "Quality is our conviction" - our wide range extends from the typical Styrian Welschriesling to Burgundy varieties such as Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, the irresistible Muscat, the densely aromatic Sauvignon Blanc to Schilcher and the red wine variety, the Zweigelt, which is also stored in oak barrels to become the "respect barrique".
Master winemaker Wolfgang Kneissl is a graduate of the Silberberg wine school and can already look forward to awards at the Styrian regional wine evaluation. We always strive to offer our guests quality out of conviction with an impressive ambience and harmony with nature!
