Buschenschank Roman wine farm Pöltl
Hartberg-UmgebungWine was already being pressed there in Roman times!
THE WINEHOUSE: Our wine farm, with a more than three hundred year old wine tavern, is located at the foot of the Neuberg vineyards, where wine was already being pressed in Roman times. The excavations of the Roman country house "Villa Rustica" bear impressive witness to this. From our Buschenschank you can easily reach this well-known sight on foot.
THE BUSCHENSCHANK: Our Buschenschank is not only known for its selected wines. Our culinary delicacies also make your mouth water. Roman flair is well provided for in the Buschenschank itself. In the photo you can see our Emperor Erich Pöltl II in his full sovereign splendour.
SPECIAL FEATURE STONE CELLAR: A special experience are the wine tastings that we offer in our 150-year-old stone cellar.
