The beekeeping Reitbauer is a family business in the northern eastern Styria in Waldbach at about 1000m above sea level in the beautiful Wechselland.

The origin of the business lies in the love of nature and bees. Manuel got the feeling for the bees and the ability to deal with them from his father at an early age. When Johann started in 1975 with a handful of bee colonies it was only a hobby, which quickly developed into professional beekeeping.

During his training as a master beekeeper, he was able to take over his parents' business and set new goals.

"Often my customers ask me how we can produce such delicious honey." The secret behind this success is explained by Manuel Reitbauer: "For us, quality starts first and foremost with the health of the bees. Only when the bees are doing well, when they have vital queens whose offspring produce strong and healthy colonies, can we harvest honey of high quality and goodness. Only ripe honey from capped combs is harvested, carefully centrifuged, and gently processed to preserve its value. We make sure that no small wax particles cloud the liquid honey. Only then is the honey carefully bottled and securely sealed."

Family Reitbauer is happy about a visit to the farm store, there are different honey varieties, as well as all kinds of bee products. The treasures from our nature can be purchased by appointment by phone.
