The East Styrian municipality of Anger extends from the Almenland in the north to the Apfelland in the south. The market town has been an economic and cultural center in the Feistritztal for 660 years, located about 40 km from Graz, attracting guests with its lovely landscape and cuisine.
The neighboring municipality of Floing, located at the foot of the Rabenwald and the Styrian Apple Road, impresses with its harmonious townscape, the Feistritz River, and the largest valley-ore deposit in Central Europe at Rabenwald. Together, tourism, education, and the parish community connect both places. However, leisure facilities such as cycling & hiking trails, folk cultural events, and regional gastronomic businesses also link Anger and Floing.
