The popular excursion destination Schüsserlbrunn is located at an altitude of 1,363m and is only accessible on foot. The name is derived from the healing spring that flows from the rock wall. In the middle of the rock stands a small "rock basin" that collects the healing water. Many legends and tales are associated with this place. The parish chronicle reveals that it was already a place of devotion in the mid-18th century. Today, services are held several times a year - primarily on Marian holidays - in the chapel, and the church remains a popular destination for pilgrim groups that are in good shape.
From the Gasthaus "Steirischer Jockl" - a popular spot for a rest and refreshment with a breathtaking view - there are 198 steps down to the little church. The church is located on various hiking trails. The shortest route leads from Teichalm (Start Teichalmsee) directly to the Gasthaus Steirischer Jokl along a rough forest road (walking time about 1.5 hours one way).
