When the remnants of snow still lie on the alpine pastures and the first green tips of crocuses appear, a sea of colors already forms in the valleys: the bright yellow of dandelion meadows, the white-violet crocuses and snowdrops, as well as the rich green of the forests and meadows combine with the blue sky and the radiant sun - a magnificent spring symphony.
This is the time of "Spring Fresh Awakening in the Almenland Nature Park" - and it lasts all May long!
Under the motto "spring-fresh culinary delights", the Almenland hosts invite you to creative, spring-like dishes. Whether it’s dandelion burgers, wild garlic risotto, wild herb soup, hiking snacks, energy drinks, and much more. You can find an overview of the participating establishments with spring-fresh menus as well as numerous events, workshops, and dinner events here! In addition to the well-known harbingers of spring, the young shoots of May or elderflowers are also in the spotlight - two inconspicuous bringers of spring!
Our hosts also invite you to "spring-fresh experiences" with the culinary delights in and from the Almenland Nature Park. Whether it’s a guided hike, special tours and tastings, workshops, or seminars. Everything revolves around spring here. You can find the experiences here!
Our Nature Park partner businesses stand as experts for the diversity of nature. They have always cooked with wild herbs, impart knowledge about nature, and express the philosophy of the nature park in their businesses. Creative ideas arise here that we want to share with our guests, especially in March.
