The exploration of line and form in combination with different textures of the applied layers of paint, both in acrylic and oil, characterizes the execution of her works. From the first to the last brushstroke: constant overpainting and adding of layers - impasto and glazing, careful and spontaneous at the same time - describe the process of creating the paintings. What remains in the end is predominantly the simplification of colors, forms and structures. The Graz-based artist on color, the magic of the living and the origins of the abstract: “Painting and any creative craft gives me the freedom to express uniqueness and spontaneity, diverse moods, feelings and experiences in color, form and movement.
The exhibition will open on May 13, 2025 at 7 p.m. and can be viewed until June 27 during the opening hours of the gallery. Free admission!
