The Vorderleitenhütte is located in the municipality of St. Margarethen in the eastern part of the Murtal holiday region. After a leisurely hike from the Almgasthof Spitzer in Preggraben, you reach the Vorderleitenhütte, where a regional snack is served.
From the hut, it is possible to hike to the summit of the 1,792-metre-high Wildeggkogel (duration approx. 45 minutes). The view is breathtaking.
