Silver mining in Zeiring is a unique testimony to high medieval mining in Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries. As a result of the legendary decline as early as around 1361, many of the galleries still show the original traces of manual mining from this period.
Guided tour of the mine:
January to April: Sunday at 9:30 a.m.
May to October: daily at 10:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. (July & August additionally at 3 p.m.)
November - December: Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

January to April: Monday & Tuesday & Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
