Biohof Hold is a small but fine family business with the aim of offering the highest quality organic products regionally. The pigs are allowed to be outside all year round. What distinguishes Biohof Hold from other organic farms?

There is a separate sleeping area, resting area, feeding area, play area for the pigs. In the play area there are ropes, balls, pieces of chain that rattle and thus attract the pigs' attention.
There are burrowing possibilities in fresh straw and additionally in best BIO hay from our own harvest.
The Biohof-Hold relies on a completely maize-free feed. The majority of the pigs' feed ration consists of organic grain and peas from our own organic cultivation. In winter, the pigs also have the opportunity to use a warm "snuggle area". In summer, the pigs enjoy their own wallow area as well as a fog shower available all day to cool down.
We rely on a completely slat-free housing system.
The pigs enjoy an all-day feeding area, so there is peace and quiet throughout and no rivalry in the feeding area.
Slaughtering is done individually and stress-free.
The products are valued and processed very carefully.
