SCHLOSSLIND_DELIGHTED: Light, sound & video performance in the nighttime area of Schloss Lind on August 23. This year, the large park area is once again transformed at night through large-scale light projections, installations, sounds, and dancers into a magical wonderland. The audience is free to move around all evening. Note: Please bring warm clothing, sturdy footwear, and headlamps!
This year, the main responsibility for the installations lies with the architect and light artist HANNO KAUTZ, who will make the various forms of park architecture (ruins, Renaissance façades, stables, wooden barns, and modern architectural installations) tangible in a different way.
Sound within the castle will be provided by the two composers and sound artists KATHARINA ERNST and IGOR GROSS, who develop exciting soundscapes between electronics and live-generated music through spontaneous constructions and deconstructions of rhythm, sound, and form. They will be supported by video installations from SIGRID FRIEDMANN and ULRICH KAUFMANN.

Sigrid Friedmann, born 1978 in Klagenfurt. Attended the School of Art and Design in Linz, the Master School for Sculpture in Graz, and studied Visual Media Design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. Year abroad at the “École Supérieure d’Art Graphique” in Paris. In 2017, recipient of the state's promotion award for film, photography, and electronic media in Carinthia. Works as a visual artist with video and photography and on interdisciplinary projects. Creates spatial sculptures, video installations, stage projections, performances, films, and photographic works.
Katharina Ernst is an Austrian composer, performer, and visual artist. In her work, she deals with polymetric, complex, and chaotic structures in the intersection of music, visual art, and choreography. She is one of the most sought-after percussionists in the experimental electronic music scene. Ulrich Kaufmann, born in 1974 in Feldkirchen in Carinthia, is a video artist and filmmaker. He works on experimental films and unconventional projection forms for theater pieces, performances, spaces, and objects. “I see myself as a kind of mediator between the ideas of my inner world and the possibilities of representing them in the outer world.”
Igor Gross, born in 1985 in Vienna, is a drummer, composer, and sound artist. His works navigate between improvised music, electroacoustic processes, and performative formats. He is a contributor and guest in ensembles such as the Black Page Orchestra, Ensemble Phace, Studio Dan, or Klangforum Vienna. His compositions and solo performances revolve around preparations, resonance, physicality, and space – with a special interest in the musical transformation of everyday materials. https://www.igorgross.org/
