The sixth concert of the summer program “Anna braucht Leonhard”, which will take place on Sunday, 24 August 2025, will be a concert under the motto “Eine klangvolle Stunde”. The Laßnitzer Viergesang will perform together with Sophie Ertl on the harp and the wind quartet of the Murau town band. The Laßnitzer Viergesang is known for its many performances throughout the region and beyond, Sophie Ertl from our neighboring district of Murtal is an award-winning musician. The wind quartet will frame the concert with melodious melodies.
‘Anna needs Leonhard‘ - Summer Program 2025 at the Leonhard Church Murau
In the centuries-old Leonhard Church in Murau, various artists will perform this summer season. In July and August, this church is open for visitors and tours every Wednesday (from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Additionally, various concerts will be held, which are free of charge. Of course, there is the option to make a voluntary contribution. The proceeds will benefit the external renovation of the Murauer Cemetery Church of St. Anna (gable wall, tower and tower roof, roof and facade, and stained glass windows). The total costs amount to 500,000 euros – and therefore: Anna needs Leonhard.
