Gasthaus Rantsch

Welcome to Gasthaus Rantsch – an inn with tradition in Veitsch. Established in 1957, the inn is run by a woman in its fourth generation – that too is tradition.

In 2012, the inn was carefully remodeled, renovated, and reopened by Gabi Scheikl and her family with great sensitivity and love for detail.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Traditional Styrian taste experiences, refined with a touch of inspiration and a pinch of creativity.
There isn't always everything. Each season has its harvest. 

Nature is the best supplier. Our monthly recommendations are based on the seasonal course of the year. What you will always find on the menu are culinary classics of inn cuisine, which always allow room for creativity. Take your time, and we will serve you a multi-course menu paired with the appropriate wines.

CELEBRATIONS:

Whether it's a birthday party, wedding, baptism, corporate event – or just a special occasion in a small circle: Every gathering is accommodated at Gasthaus Rantsch. We can host 40 guests in the dining room. For smaller groups, our 'Stüberl' with 14 seats is available. In the warm season, our terrace – which has 30 seats – is a popular place to relax and enjoy.

CATERING:

A private celebration, corporate event, or large gathering – we take care of your festivities. We have the experience, routine, and equipment to delight you and your guests with our catering. Whether it's finger food, small delicacies, or excellent meals – let us present you with a culinary proposal.
