Alois-Günther-Haus
Spital am SemmeringNice, spacious hut on the Stuhleck near the top station of the 6-seater chairlift, with overnight accommodation, good home cooking and fantastic panoramic views.
Located right next to the summit cross, the hut offers a spectacular panoramic view - on a clear day, the view extends across Styria, Lower Austria, Burgenland all the way to Hungary and Slovenia. With overnight accommodation in rooms and dormitories, the Alois-Günther Haus is also a central meeting point for hikers, mountain bikers, snowshoe hikers and ski tourers.
The Alois-Günther Haus is also located on numerous long-distance hiking trails such as the Zentralalpenweg 02, the northern route of the “From Glacier to Wine” hiking trail and the Alpannonia long-distance hiking trail, which leads from Fischbach to Hungary. The easily accessible ridge trail to Pretul with the Rosegger Schutzhaus is also particularly popular - an ideal one-day stage there and back for nature-loving families.
The alpine hut on the Stuhleck is therefore more than just a hut - it is an alpine meeting place with history, far-reaching views and long-distance hiking suitability. Families, long-distance hikers and summiteers appreciate the carefree atmosphere, the panorama and the good food. Whether as a summit destination, stage destination or winter retreat - here you can experience authentic mountain moments in Hochsteiermark. Further information: www.aloisguentherhaus.at
