The Nichtlstube is the à la carte restaurant at the Youth Hostel Strechau, which has been lovingly family-run since 1994. And you can feel it: Heart and soul are invested in every detail.
In the cozy and rustic ambiance of the house, which accommodates around 70 guests, one thing is clear – enjoyment is at the center. The menu is intentionally thought out differently: a fine mix of down-to-earth classics and creatively reinterpreted dishes, always with a special twist. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand here – and you can taste it as well. Each dish is prepared with great care and regional ingredients. What makes the kitchen special are the specially developed spice blends that give each plate that certain something.
